We have worked hard over the last three years to ensure that all of our students achieve relevant vocational qualifications. So certain are we now that we can deliver the right training tailored to the needs of each learner that we can make the following promise:

“All learners who complete their course with Skill Centre UK LLP in the 2010-11
academic year will be guaranteed at least 3 level 1 qualifications”

A bold promise but one we can achieve.

Every learner attending one of our Foundation Learning courses will receive the following qualifications if they complete their course:

• 500/7232/8 Award in Health and Safety
• 500/4078/9 Certificate in Employment and Personal and Social Development
• Trade Certificate in the vocational area studied

Learners who attend for a full year have the option to achieve two trade certificates in different vocational areas or one vocational diploma. As always, all qualifications are part of the QCF.

Each term starts with a 6-session sampling programme that will allow learners to try-out at least 5 different vocational areas before they decide in which trades they would like to specialise. It is in this period that learners will also achieve the Health and Safety Award and complete the majority of the Employment and Personal and Social Development Certificate.

We have rooms available for evening and weekend hire at extremely competitive rates. Starting from £10.00 per hour for a room that will hold 8 people to larger spaces for exercise classes or even band rehearsals. Refreshments are available in all rooms and off-road parking is available for up to eight cars.
